dc.description.abstract | Wavelet analysis is applied extensively to a multiplexed fibre Fizeau interferometer and fibre Bragg grating sensor system. Specifically, the discrete wavelet transform is used to demodulate the multiplexed sensor signal simultaneously; and two wavelet denoising methods are used to reduce the noise present in the signal and measurands record. Experimental demonstration is performed through the simultaneous measurement of quasi-static and temperature. | en_US |
