Abstract
The eleventh Melbourne Gay Community Periodic Survey was part of an annual cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men recruited at a range of gay community sites in Melbourne. Data were collected from questions on HIV status and testing, sexual practices, drug use, sexual health and a range of demographic variables. Kind of Data: Survey. Sample Population: 2135 gay and homosexually-active men from Melbourne. Time Dimensions: Repeated cross-sectional study. Method of Data Collection: Self-completion. Sampling Procedures: Men were recruited through nine sites: gay community venues, gay sex-on-premises venues, gay men’s sexual health clinics and Midsumma Carnival. http://csrh.arts.unsw.edu.au/research/publications/gcps/
