Abstract
The cytotoxicity of selected ZnO and TiO2 nanoparticles were studied in human cells with the relevance of exposures including; skin fibroblasts and pulmonary type II-like epithelial cell lines (A549) using the MTS (tetrazolium salt; Promega); the ATP (adenosine triphosphate; Promega); the LDH (lactate dehydrogenase; Promega); and NRU (neutral red uptake; Sigma) in vitro assays.
