Abstract
The second Melbourne Gay Community Periodic Survey is a cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men in Melbourne. Data were collected from questions on anal intercourse and oral sex, the use of condoms, the nature of sexual relationships, HIV testing and serostatus, aspects of social attachment to gay community, recreational drug use, and a range of demographic items including sexual identify, age, education, occupation and ethnicity. Method of Data Collection: Self-completion. Sampling Procedures: Men were recruited through seven sites: six gay community venues and Midsumma Carnival. Sample Population: 1567 gay and homosexually-active men from Melbourne. Time Dimensions: Repeated cross-sectional study. Kind of Data: Survey. http://csrh.arts.unsw.edu.au/research/publications/gcps/
