Abstract
The associated research project is concerned with the on-going fundamental research of flow induced noise from square, wall mounted cylinders. This dataset provides both experimental and numerical data concerned with the flow field and acoustic radiation from finite wall mounted square cylinders. The cylinders have a wide variety of aspect ratios and are mounted on a flat plate at the exit of an anechoic wind tunnel. Hot-wire anemometry data as well as acoustic data are available. These data are in the format of MATLAB .mat and .m files, as well as raw data files from the data acquisition system. In addition to the experimental data, numerical data of a selected number of test cases are provided. These are ANSYS Fluent files and MATLAB .m and .mat files.
