Abstract
Urban stormwater runoff is a transport medium for many contaminants from anthropogenic sources. There are many alternative treatment technologies available to remove some of these contaminants. The Centennial park and Moore Park Trust with support from the NSW EPA Stormwater Trust installed a CDS gross pollutant trap immediately upstream of Musgrave Pond within Centennial Park. Reported herein are the results of a monitoring program aimed at assessing the treatment achieved by the gross pollutant trap.
