Abstract
This brief commentary is a response to one reaction to the 'Heterosexuality' issue of this journal. That reaction was a complaint that the discussion of heterosexuality had nothing good to say about it, and instead, focused on the radical feminist critique of heterosexuality's negative and oppressive aspects. This brief piece argues that that focus was necessary, (a) because radical feminism is the only voice raised in protest at the oppressive aspects of heterosexuality, and (b) because the space of the positive depiction of heterosexuality is already occupied by the malestream.
