Abstract
Estimates the sand bed load of tributary streams to Lake Burley Griffin. Location of sediment gauges discussed. Theoretical relationships, modified Einstein method, estimates of bed load. The possibility of sand deposition in the lake and measures suggested for trapping the bed load to prevent it reaching the lake.
