Abstract
Reports groundwater investigation of sewage effluent disposal facility near the Wollondilly River. Before expanding the facility, surface and groundwater conditions were investigated with regard to fluid conductivity in springs and seepages, lithology and groundwater conditions, chemical and microibiological testing. These to support an environmental impact study for the expansion of the facility. Recommendations were made for changing irrigation scheduling, regular monitoring of the impact, ponds should be designed to minimise leakage, salinity should be taken into account and testing should be repeated under different seasonal conditions.
