Abstract
In the face of declining enrolments and threats to government support of research in science, the outreach program SSEP ‐ aims to foster a culture of academic generosity by bringing our current and future scientists together. This poster outlines our experiences in coordinating, evaluation and underlines the successes of the program at improving i) perceptions of science by school students, and ii) boosting awareness and ability of inter‐personal and communication skills of our postgraduate scientists.
