Abstract
The simple loop method is applied to the analysis of steady water flow in networks of pipes, pumps and reservoirs. Improved head discharge relations are presented for pipe and pump lines. The effects of loop set selection, convergence criteria, node head calculation and convergence accceleration techniques are investigated. A computer program, based on conclusions reached, is presented.
