Abstract
Resulting from interviews at the (PHA) Pacific History Association Conference in Honiara, Solomon Islands in 1998. This is a series of interviews with prominent Pacific historians about why people should study history. These Pacific historians from the islands and the rim, urge people to know their own history. Niu History is the last in the publication series of the (TTPF) Teaching The Pacific Forum, a project that ran at UNSW from 1994-2000 as part of the activities of the UNSW Centre for South Pacific Studies.
