Abstract
Study of air entrainment flow in developing zone in steep channels. The flume used was 27 feet long with smooth boundaries, the quantities of air varying with the distance downstream. Slope and discharge could be varied. The position of the critical point was consistent with earlier observations. Later, the flow was treated as two layers, turbulent boundary layer and free turbulent flow.
