Abstract
Frequency response of ac loss peak of complex susceptibility has been investigated in different ac magnetic field for YBa2Cu3O7 textured crystals with different thickness. The ac loss peak shifts towards higher temperatures with increasing frequency. This frequency-dependent behavior is enhanced as the thickness of the sample increases. Besides, the width of the ac loss peak increases with both frequency and sample size. The phenomena observed are attributed to the influence of flux flow, creep and the thermal conduction and non-uniform distribution of temperature associated with the ac loss in the sample.
