dc.description.abstract Delivered shortly after the introduction of State Environmental Planning Policy (SEPP) BASIX in New South Wales, Australia, the paper reviews the implications of those controls for residential development approvals, as they affect the increasing emphasis on sustainability outcomes for residential developments in that jurisdiction. Appendices to the paper contain much of the information originally made available in two earlier NEERG Seminar presentations on solar access and natural ventilation applicable to this building type. en_US
