Abstract
The Canberra Gay Community Periodic Survey is a repeated cross-sectional survey of gay and homosexually active men recruited through gay community sites in Canberra. The survey collects data on sexual, drug use and testing practices related to the transmission of HIV and other sexually transmissible infections (STIs) among gay-community-attached men. Kind of Data: Survey. Time Dimensions: Repeated cross-sectional study. Sample Population: 310 gay and homosexually-active men from Canberra. Sampling Procedures: Participants were recruited at Canberra Queer Pride Festival Fair Day, gay social venues, sex-on-premises venues and sexual health clinics. The response rate was 84.9%.
