Abstract
This project examined the influence of sodium hypchlorite, a common membrane cleaning solution, on PVDF microfiltration membranes. This study examined the effect of sodium hypochlorite at different concentrations as well as its influence on the membrane properties over a period of 21 weeks with repeated fouling and cleaning analysis. The study used FTIR and capillary porometry to examine the membrane properties, however, only the porometry information is contained in this dataset.
