Description of methods used for collection/generation of data: Two groups were surveyed to identify the perceptions of KHL students and the Korean community on KHL maintenance and ethnic identity formation. Surveys were designed separately for each group, reflecting similar question categories and adjusted to effectively elicit responses relating to each group. The ethics approval for this study was obtained from the Monash University Human Research Ethics Committee. 2. Methods for processing the data: Totals and averages were calculated from the number of responses for each question and inputted into MS Excel. 3. Standards and calibration information, if appropriate: Participants were limited by age and migration status to show a random sample of the general KHL and Korean migrant community, demonstrating an unbiased subset that can be used to estimate the entire group’s characteristics. 5.
